February 16, 2016 – Professor Ann Carlson, co-executive director of the Emmett Institute on Climate Change and the Environment, was quoted by NPR “State Impact” and Energy Wire about the future of the Clean Power Plan after U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia’s death.
"The mainstream view among Democratic appointees to the bench is likely to remain one of deference," Carlson said. "With that said, the Clean Power Plan is a pretty unusual regulation. It's massive, it's complicated."
