Professor Wang Quoted in Vice on China’s Decrease in Planet-Warming Emissions

March 9, 2016—Professor Alex Wang was quoted in Vice on how recent studies of China's economy suggest that growth in planet-warming emissions peaked in 2014 and will be far more modest in the coming decades. However, China has been swift to deny studies that suggest its output of carbon dioxide has already peaked.

"The overall take-away is that China's own 2030 target of peaking is most likely conservative, and much more can be done in China to make the peak as early as possible," Professor Wang said.
