Article by Professor Bank Selected among 10 Leading Corporate Tax Articles Published in 2014 and 2015

April 19, 2016 – An article by Professor Steven Bank, Paul Hastings professor of business law, was included among a list of 10 leading corporate tax articles published in 2014 and 2015.  “Historical Perspective on the Corporate Interest Deduction,” 18 Chapman L. Rev. 29 (2014) was noted in “A Brief Review of Corporate Tax Articles of 2014-2015, 151 in Tax Notes, by Jordan M. Barry and Karen C. Burke (April 11, 2016).

Professor Bank, who teaches in the area of tax and business, has published numerous articles and chapters in the fields of business taxation, tax policy, and business and tax history, and has co-authored or edited several books, including From Sword to Shield: the Transformation of the Corporate Income Tax, 1861 to Present (Oxford University Press 2010), War and Taxes (Urban Institute Press 2008), Taxation of Business Enterprises (West 2012) and Business Tax Stories (Foundation Press 2005).  His articles have been selected for the Stanford/Yale Junior Faculty Forum and the John Minor Wisdom Award for Academic Excellence in Legal Scholarship.
