Professor Blasi Speaks to L.A. Times about Report Naming Medical Marijuana Tax as Potential Source of Funding to Aid Homeless

March 10, 2016- Professor Gary Blasi spoke to the Los Angeles Times about a proposed tax on medical marijuana that could be used as funding to help the homeless in Los Angeles. A new report released by the city of Los Angeles names a medical marijuana tax as one of nine potential sources for the revenue the city needs to remedy the issue of homelessness.

The report is “a tiny step in the direction of finding out where the money might be,” said Blasi.
