Police Safer Under Obama: Professor Volokh Talks to the Chicago Tribune on ‘War on Cops’

July 11, 2016—Professor Eugene Volokh was quoted by the Chicago Tribune and The Los Angeles Herald Examiner, as well as various other news outlets, about the number of police officers intentionally killed in 2016 under the Obama administration compared with the rates of these fatalities under other presidents. Some conservatives believe that "Obama's words & [Black Lives Matter]'s deeds have gotten cops killed"; Professor Volokh points out that under Obama, the rates of intentional police killings has fallen to the lowest level yet.
