Cara Horowitz of Emmet Institute Interviewed by KPCC on New CA Climate Bills

August 29, 2016-- Cara Horowitz, executive director of the Emmett Institute on Climate Change and the Environment, was interviewed by KPCC’s “Take Two” about climate change measures California Governor Jerry Brown said he plans to sign. SB 32 and AB 197 would set a higher bar for pollution control in California by raising targets for reduced greenhouse gas emissions and expanding oversight of CA’s climate regulators.

 "It sets the most aggressive mid-term target for climate pollution reduction in the United States,” says Professor Horowitz.
