Director of the Climate Change and Business Program, Ethan Elkind, Discusses Measure M in LA Times Article

October 25, 2016—Ethan Elkind, UCLA Law’s Director of the Climate Change and Business Program, wrote an opinion article for the Los Angeles Times discussing Measure M, which proposes a sales tax increase for transportation. Measure M would generate $860 million per year through a half cent sales tax increase that will help fund street improvements and public transportation. However, cities are divided on the proposition.

“Measure M could face the same fate, unless voters throughout the region decide to tackle their common transportation needs together,” says Elkin.
