Professor Parson Discusses Role of HFCs in Climate Change During Interview with KPCC’s Take Two

October 17, 2016—Edward Parson, Dan and Rae Emmett Professor of Environmental Law and faculty co-director of the Emmett Institute on Climate Change and the Environment, was interviewed by KPCC’s Take Two on the role of HFCs in climate change. In a deal recently made in Kigali, Rwanda, nations agreed to cut back on a class of greenhouse gases called HFCs or hydrofluorocarbons in a further step to reduce the effects of global climate change.
