Professor Ann Carlson Delivers Garrison Lecture at Pace Law

Ann Carlson largeProfessor Ann Carlson presented the 23rd Lloyd K. Garrison Lecture on Environmental Law at Pace University’s Elisabeth Haub School of Law in April 2017. Carlson, the Shirley Shapiro Professor of Environmental Law and faculty co-director of the Emmett Institute on Climate Change and the Environment at UCLA Law, spoke on "Pollution Hot Spots and the Clean Air Act" offering analysis of the act and efforts to accurately measure pollutants.

The namesake of the lecture, Lloyd K. Garrison, former Dean of the University of Wisconsin Law School, won a landmark environmental law decision in 1965 to preserve Storm King Mountain on the Hudson River.
