Professor Eagly Addresses Need for California to Resist Mass Deportations in Op-Ed for The Daily Journal

In an op-ed for The Daily Journal, Professor Ingrid Eagly, faculty director of the David J. Epstein Program in Public Interest Law and Policy, addressed the importance of resisting mass deportations through support for California state bill, SB 54.  Also known as the California Values Act, SB 54 “provides a blueprint for protecting state and local resources against being used to advance Trump’s mass deportation agenda,” writes Eagly.  “At this critical moment, California needs to send an unmistakable message to the nation: we will not participate in mass deportations.”
