Nicholas Bryer Speaks Before the Brazilian Senate on New Principles of Environmental Law in Latin America

Emmet Institute Fellow Nicholas Bryer spoke at a conference before the Brazilian Senate on how innovative environmental laws, backed by various constitutional rights of Latin American countries, can be implemented through the rule of law. Bryer noted, “We human beings impact all life on Earth – but it can no longer be this way because the judicial system as it existed harms future generations that cannot defend themselves,” he said. “Thus, all principles of environmental law fit within the question of the current state of environmental law.”
