Professor Zatz Writes Op-Ed for Washington Post on GOP’s Work Mandate for Medicaid Recipients

Professor Noah Zatz has written an op-ed for The Washington Post that takes aim at the GOP’s health care bill now awaiting approval by the Senate, which would authorize states to impose work requirements on low-income adults who access health care through Medicaid.  “Predictably, the most vulnerable bear the heaviest burden,” writes Zatz. “The same challenges that lead people to need assistance in the first place also increase the risk of a misstep in navigating the work bureaucracy.”
