Eugene Volokh Quoted by Vanity Fair on What Constitutes a True Threat under First Amendment

Professor Eugene Volokh was quoted by Vanity Fair in an article about actor Johnny Depp, who while at a public event made a threatening comment about President Trump.  “The First Amendment law—and common sense—has long realized that not every reference to violence, even related to the president, is a true threat,” noted Volokh.
