Lara Stemple Quoted in Des Moines Register on Male Victimization

Lara Stemple, director of UCLA’s Health and Human Rights Law Project, was quoted in a Des Moines Register article about the sexual victimization of men.  Stemple, who along with Williams Institute Senior Scholar Ilan Meyer and associates, co-authored a 2016 study that found that male sexual victimization by women is more common than previously thought, said that an analysis of federal data actually "detect a high prevalence of sexual victimization among men -- in many circumstances similar to the prevalence found among women."
