New York Magazine Speaks with Eugene Volokh on Trump Jr.’s Revealed Emails

New York Magazine interviewed Professor Eugene Volokh about the recent controversy over Trump Jr.’s emails with a Russian government official during his father’s presidential campaign. Volokh argued that Trump Jr. cannot be prosecuted, as he was merely exercising his constitutional right to receive a campaign boost. A federal ban on foreign nationals making these types of election-related contributions would ultimately sweep too broadly, Volokh said.
