San Diego Union Tribune Interviews Sean Hecht on Lawsuits against Big Oil for Effects of Rising Sea Levels

Professor Sean Hecht, co-executive director of the Emmett Institute on Climate Change and the Environment, was interviewed by the San Diego Union-Tribune about a trio of new lawsuits that aim to hold the world’s largest oil companies accountable for the projected effects of rising sea levels along California’s coast.  The three lawsuits were filed by the city of Imperial Beach and San Mateo and Marin counties.
