Los Angeles Times Talks to Kal Raustiala about Feasibility of U.N.’s Sustainable Development Goals

Professor Kal Raustiala spoke to the Los Angeles Times about the reality of achieving the United Nations’ long-term Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which aim to fight poverty and inequality, protect the environment and foster peace.  “The SDGs are very ambitious,” said Raustiala.  “One of the criticisms is that there are so many goals … with everything being a priority and therefore arguably nothing being a priority. So implementing them in full is hard to imagine.”
