L.A. Times Quotes Sean Hecht on Landmark Ruling that Could Set Precedent Over Effects of Climate Change

Professor Sean Hecht, co-executive director of the Emmett Institute on Climate Change and the Environment, was quoted in a Los Angeles Times article about a California Appeal Court ruling that found three paint manufacturers responsible for the health hazards of lead paint in California homes, which could set a precedent over the effects of climate change.  “Those sea-level rise cases are far more likely to advance past the first litigation hurdle," said Hecht.
