Tim Malloy Co-Authors Piece for The Hill on Pruitt Directive at EPA

Professor Timothy Malloy, faculty director of the UCLA Sustainable Technology and Policy Program, co-authored an opinion piece for The Hill to identify major issues with Scott Pruitt’s directive at the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The directive purges independent university scientists from serving on EPA advisory panels such as the Board of Scientific Counselors (BOSC), which Malloy was nominated to join, simply because they receive EPA grants.

“Pruitt’s directive undermines the BOSC and all other EPA advisory panels. We strongly oppose the directive,” wrote Malloy and his co-authors.
