June 25th -- Professor Eugene Volokh comments on "Slippery Slope Theory" in a The Week article.  With recent decisions made by President Obama and the U.S. Supreme Court, more Americans are concerned that the government is consistently operating on a worst-case scenario basis.

UCLA Law Professor Eugene Volokh comments that many Americans use metaphors like the "slippery slope theory" in a negative manner.  He feels that these people ultimately obscure their own vision by applying this metaphor to government decisions too often.
