Mission: UCLA Law Students for Immigrant Justice (LSIJ) seeks to develop future immigration law practitioners and advocates, mobilize UCLA Law students to participate in advocacy efforts on behalf of immigrants in the Los Angeles community, foster immigration and immigrants’ rights-related dialogue at UCLA School of Law and the greater UCLA campus, and connect UCLA Law students to the broader community by recruiting and organizing students to volunteer with community agencies that provide free and low-cost legal services for immigrants.
To contact LSIJ or to find out how you can get involved in our efforts, please contact email@example.com.
LSIJ Board members volunteered with the CARA Pro Bono Project in Dilley, TX during summer 2017, helping incarcerated women and children seeking asylum in the U.S.
We invite you to attend LSIJ’s first General Body Meeting on Wednesday, September 6th from 12:00 - 1:15 pm in Room 1420. Come meet the LSIJ Board and hear about our group and the many opportunities we have planned for the school year and beyond! Food will be provided! RSVP Form
