Edward Han

Lecturer in Law

Edward Han teaches legal research and writing at UCLA School of Law. He previously served as an Assistant United States Attorney at the United States Attorney’s Offices for the Central District of California and the District of New Mexico, where he prosecuted matters ranging from violent and firearm-related crimes to white collar frauds. He has successfully tried numerous cases before juries and argued before the United States Courts of Appeals for the Ninth and Tenth Circuits.

Professor Han is also a judge advocate in the Air Force Reserve, holding the rank of captain and serving the 349th Air Mobility Wing at Travis Air Force Base.

Professor Han earned his B.A., cum laude, at the University of Pennsylvania, and his J.D. at the New York University School of Law. After law school, he worked as a Business and Tort Litigation associate at Jones Day in Los Angeles and clerked for the Honorable Fernando M. Olguin in the Central District of California.
